PLEASE NOTE

YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE The Joy to the World sharing box, it will be donated to the food bank along with other items which have been purchased for donation.

For a reduced price you are able to buy a Joy to the World sharing box and we will send it to a Trussell food bank hub for distribution. It's a great way to make sure larger groups of children in need receive a Fairtrade seasonal gift and a copy of the Christmas story. Donations need to be made by 12th December.

(Because we cover the additional costs of sending a calendar to the food bank donations do not count towards other free delivery offers).

Due to logistics it is not possible to nominate a food bank or have items delivered to a food bank which you run yourself. We will share news of the donations made just before Christmas.

A joy to use

Angels are a key part of the Christmas story and a perfect element of any pre-Christmas event as they herald the coming of the baby Jesus. With 30 angels in each Joy to the World - Sharing Box there is a wonderful opportunity to create a buzz during your event as children collect their angels, hold them up whilst singing a carol and then take them home along with their story/activity poster.

About the story poster

The story poster contains the story of Christmas on one side and some fun challenges on the other (such as word-searches and quizzes). The poster  is large - just below A3 (20cm tall by 40 cm wide).

About the chocolate angels

Each Angel is made from Fairtrade certified finest milk chocolate (35% cocoa). They are foiled in gold. Each Angel weights 17g (96 calories per Angel).

About Fairtrade

All our chocolate is Fairtrade. This means our farmers receive a fair price for their sugar and cocoa and an extra Fairtrade Premium cash payment which they can use to invest in their community, buying everything from schoolbooks to solar panels and providing fresh water supplies.

Sourcing details
Meaningful Chocolate's sugar comes from cooperatives in Paraguay and Belize. Most of the cocoa from cooperatives in the Ivory Coast (Kuapa Kokoo Co-operative Cocoa Farmers and Marketing Union Limited Ghana). Beans are also sourced from cooperatives in the Dominican Republic, Peru, Panama and Ecuador. The chocolate for the eggs is then blended using a Belgian recipe.
