Hundreds of donations to food banks

Over the last month people who shop on our site have made nearly 500 donations through our Donate to a Food Bank scheme. Hundreds of Real Advent Calendars and boxes of Host of Angels have been delivered.

823,145 emergency food parcels were given to people in the UK between April and September 2019. It was the busiest half-year period for food banks in the Trussell Trust’s network since the charity opened. This is a 23% increase on the same period in 2018.

Please keep those who use food banks in your prayers. It is a very humbling experience to see the work behind the scenes which goes in to supporting the most vulnerable people in society at Christmas.
