Celebrating women's suffrage

2018 marks 100 years since Parliament passed a law which allowed the first women to vote for the first time. To mark this momentous centenary, we are proud to offer a limited edition commemorative chocolate bar.

Votes for Women chocolate bar - Courage calls to Courage everywhere

On Saturday 14th December 1918, women voted in a UK general election for the first time. To mark 100 years since women's suffrage was put into action, we have designed a bar to commemorate this great event.

The design of this celebratory bar is based on meeting tickets issued by the Suffragettes. The colours are: purple for dignity, white for purity and green for hope. In 1928 all women won the right to vote on equal terms with men.

“Justice and freedom for women are things worth securing ... for civilisation itself.” Millicent Garrett Fawcett, 1928.

The Votes for Women bars cost £2.50 each. They are made from Belgian Fairtrade chocolate and come in cases of 12. They cost £30 a case. Delivery is included on each order.
